Connection to Country Small Grants

GRANTS AVAILABLE NOW

CLOSING DATE EXTENDED - 5PM 21 OCTOBER 2022

Central West Local Land Services is pleased to offer the opportunity for Aboriginal community groups across the Central West region to apply for our first round of Connection to Country Small Grants. The program aims to empower local Aboriginal communities to come together to work on projects that are important to them, in line with the project priorities.

The challenges presented over the past few years have had various impacts on local communities, groups, and the projects they support. This project allows for community-focused groups to continue doing what they do best.

Grants of $1000-$5000 are available to deliver projects that align with the project priorities and can be delivered by 30 April 2023.

Project ideas could include but not be limited to significant cultural events, educational events, worskshops to increase cultural knowledge, field based activities such as cultural ermersion demonstrations, school programs and training opportunities.

For further detail, and eligibility criteria, please review the Connection to Country Small Grant guidelines.
